DJ Enuff grew up in the lower east side and spent his adolescence in Flatbush, Brooklyn. DJ Red Alert, who worked for 98.7 KISS FM, went to Enuff's parties and one day asked him to fill in at the station. Pretty soon, Enuff became the permanent substitute for DJ Red Alert and progressed into his own slot Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 PM – Midnight. There was such a demand for him at the clubs that he decided to return to deejaying at local parties which caught the attention of the late legend Notorious BIG and suddenly became his road DJ. Some time later, the programming director at Hot 97.1 FM, offered him a spot on the Hot 97 Morning Show. He then made the transition to the commercial free Rush Hour which airs Monday – Thursdays 5pm – 6pm and Fridays: The Extended Rush Hour until 7pm. Since this innovation, he has consistently held the #1 DJ spot of afternoon radio.
